Call for Manuscripts
Mekong Press, an imprint of the Mekong Press Foundation in Chiang Mai, has been set up to publish books in English by local writers and scholars living and working within or outside Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand and the rest of the Mekong subregion.
Mekong Press books are marketed and distributed internationally.
Submissions to Mekong Press
We welcome proposals for books on contemporary cross-border or regional issues, art and architecture, the environment, politics, gender, original fiction, biography and autobiography, cultural history, and creative non-fiction of all kinds.
Please use our proposal template (available in Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format) and send it by mail or email with a brief cover letter. We will let you know when we have received it and will inform you about the status of your proposal in three to four weeks.
Note All submissions should comply with the submission guidelines followed by Silkworm Books, as listed on their website. Please make sure you read these guidelines carefully as you prepare your submission.
