The Copyediting Workshop in Cambodia is one of the results of the “Business of Book Publishing Workshop” in 2006, in which several of our participants expressed their desire to have Mekong Press organize workshops concerning the publishing business again in their own countries. The program included: Introduction to the key concepts of book publishing and editorial; Discussions on the problem of translation, language usage, and the editorial process; and Introduction to necessary skills and useful software for editors.
